The Exam Prep App

You’re in it

The self-paced drill partner for the class — or a complete prep on its own. Everything runs right here, on phone or PC.

  • Timed 60-question PAR practice exams — 2 hours, 70% to pass
  • Study by topic across all 8 ACS areas, with explanations
  • Visual study guide lessons, flashcards, and weak-area review

How it works

Three steps from first lesson to a passed written exam.

1

Learn it visually

Start with the study guide: every lesson opens with a diagram and a plain-language explanation, then connects the idea to something you already know.

2

Drill by topic

Work one ACS area at a time with an explanation after every answer, flip the flashcards, and watch your weak areas shrink on the Progress page.

3

Rehearse the real test

Sit the full 60-question exam under real conditions — 2 hours on the clock, 70% to pass — until your score says you’re ready.

Questions, answered

The FAA Private Pilot (Airplane) knowledge test — exam code PAR. Sixty multiple-choice questions, a 2-hour time limit, and a 70% score to pass, drawn from the Airman Certification Standards areas covered throughout this app.

No — they are two separate products. The $750 class is live virtual instruction taught by licensed instructors through our partner flight school. This app is the self-paced practice companion: visual lessons, timed exams, flashcards, and progress tracking. Many students use both.

Every question, explanation, and lesson is written from FAA publications — the Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, the Airplane Flying Handbook, the AIM, and 14 CFR — and each explanation cites its source so you can read the original.

Yes. On a PC you get a wide workspace layout; on a phone the app switches to a thumb-friendly layout with a bottom tab bar. Your progress is kept on the device you’re using.
